NettetRabelais use to be the entrance to the park from 1926 to 1954. It was moved 10 km to the west in 1954 and a rest camp was established beside the gate. It was named in honour of the Orpen family. Today, a small, white rondawel is the only indication of where the gate once stood. It is now a museum dedicated to the family.
