WebDiscovery Health is now the largest open medical aid in South Africa and has a range of plans to suit every budget. There are three different hospital plans only options on Discovery Health. These hospital plan medical aids are within the Core Series. It includes : Classic Core and Classic Delta Core. Essential Core and Classic Delta Core. WebCo-payments: Scopes (Gastroscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy and proctoscopy): Day Surgery Network: R3,800 co-payment. Hospital: R6,550 co-payment, or R5,450 if done by a doctor who is part of "value-based network". If gastroscopy and colonoscopy are performed in same admission: Day Surgery Network: R4,650 co-payment.
